Admissions
To apply for a place at Archbishop Rowan Williams CiW Primary School (ARW), you will need to visit the website of Monmouthshire County Council, and complete the standard application form. You will need to indicate that ARW is your first choice school and it is advised that you supply reasons as to why it is your first choice of school. As a Voluntary Aided school, we receive the applications from the local authority and our Admissions Committee award places in line with the school Admissions Policy. If you have supporting information that is linked to this Admissions Policy, please provide this detail e.g. Church reference, sibling, catchment etc. as it has a direct impact on how places are awarded to pupils.
If there is anything further that we can help you with, please do not hesitate to contact the school.
MESSAGE FROM THE HEADTEACHER
Dear Parents, Carers, Families,
We are delighted that you are considering our school for your child. We are currently faced with Covid 19 restrictions, so are unable to invite you to our usual open evening where you would be able to view the school and ask questions.
In an attempt to provide you with more information, we have put together a short clip, which will just serve to give you a flavour of our school. If you have any questions, please feel free to email the school. We will then publish answers in this space so that others can benefit from the information gained by the range of queries.
We will organise an open evening as soon we are able to invite people into our school, and if you would like to receive and invitation to attend, please email the office and ask for your details to be added to the contact list.
We very much look forward to seeing you in the near future,
Kind regards,
Caroline Swann
