"I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13

Year 5

St Fagans Y4/5 Trip - We had a fantastic time in St Fagans. The weather was perfect and the class were a credit to us all. One of the workshop leaders was very impressed with the level of questions asked by lots of the children; 'the best and most intelligent she had heard in a long time.'

Here are some photos from our visit. I hope it will create some lovely memories for the pupils and encourage you to visit St Fagans yourselves.

The Art Exhibition as part of Money Week was a huge success across the school. In our class we ended the day with a profit of £121.25, and counting!!

Thank you all for your support. We would not have been able to raise this much without your generosity. The children were a credit to you and to us. There are a few Year 5's who are already showing their competence in selling techniques. Look out in the future. The class also agreed that Jake could easily get a job with Shoo Rayner as an illustrator for his books.

Personally, I was very pleased with the finished work and excellent art skills demonstrated.

There are still a few pictures left which can still be purchased.

I hope you enjoy looking at the  photos of the fantastic artwork produced. We are hoping these will tempt even more of you to buy up the remaining stock.

The children are proudly holding some of the posters and postcards still available to buy: but you will have to hurry as they will be going on general public sale next week.

The Limited Edition Posters are a bargain at £1; these are laminated and would make excellent table placemats. What a talking point they would be!! We have a few medium and small sized postcards for 50p and 25p only. Stocks are selling very quickly. There are also just 9 original paintings remaining, signed by the artists; these are a snip at £1.50. We have sold out of picture frames however I recommend that they are framed as this really enhances the quality of the pictures, as I'm sure you will agree from the photographs.

The themes for the paintings were: Animals and pets; Landscapes and Holidays, and Father's Day Surprise; excellent subject matter choices.
