School Council

Our School Council

Foundation Phase are represented by Lara and Harrison

A letter from our Chair of the Governors:

On behalf of the governing body at Archbishop Rowan Williams School Portskewett I would like to thank the school council at ARW for the super presentation you made which we had at our governing body meeting on Monday 22nd May. It was most professional. A school council is a group of students who are elected to represent the views of all pupils and to improve their school and you have worked hard in ensuring that you represent your school in the most positive way.

We were just amazed at how much you have all achieved in such a short time. Your charity fund raising is absolutely aspirational and you should feel very proud. As a governing body we feel privileged to work with such caring young people. Diolch yn fawr iawn.

Joy Ganesh ( Chair of Governors ARW)

Our aim this year is to encourage everyone in our school to eat healthy snacks at break time.  We launched this with fruit and vegetable tasting as well as lessons about eating healthily.

Introducing the School Council

James introduces the roles and responsibilities of the School Council.

Our School Council represents the views of all our pupils. It gives children the opportunity to make their voices heard and feel part of the whole school community.
